This film is about the stories of the people, the places and the companies that makes the North of England unique – to live, work, invest and study - from bold breakthroughs and twists on tradition, to the fresh perspectives that challenge convention and stimulate progress.
Project North will feature interviews with key business leaders, senior politicians, celebrities and think tanks to promote the North as pioneering, innovative and enterprising.
Simply put, the North is one of the best places on the planet and this film will show why.
Collaboration
Masterfully filmed and edited with rapid-cut shots and inventive techniques, the narrative of the film is being developed closely with a range of partners including The Northern Powerhouse Partnership (NPP), CBI, Make UK and NP11.
The film charts the game-changing companies, the people, places and pioneers shaping a new industrial landscape in the North of England and examine why the region is pivotal to the UK’s national recovery and prosperity.
